Do I have to be home for a cleaning?
This is dependent on the customer and whatever you are comfortable with. 75% of our customers are not home during the clean and at Maid for It clean we have access to their home through means of the customer.
2. Can I schedule a clean for a specific day?
Absolutely, we do recommend booking ahead as our schedules book quickly at Maid for It Clean. If you are an existing customer please book services with Lauren Spaulding directly, if you are a new customer, please reach out to Stephanie Stitt directly.
3. Should I do anything to prepare my house for cleaning?
Having your home tidied up and uncluttered allows the cleaning crew to focus more on the cleaning.
4. Are you comfortable cleaning with pets in my home?
Yes, our cleaning crews are comfortable with pets in the home. If there are any concerns with your pets not being friendly, we ask that you have the animal in a separate room/crated.
5. Do I need to provide cleaning equipment or supplies?
At Maid For It Clean, we provide cleaning supplies/equipment for your home. As a business, we like environmental products in the home but are comfortable with what customers need. If there is something specific a customer wants to use we recommend the customer having the necessary product at their home.
6. What if I am not satisfied with my clean?
We guarantee your satisfaction. If there is ever a problem with your service, then please contact Stephanie within 24 hours of the service so we can promptly return to fix the issue.
7. How do I reschedule a clean?
It’s simple, please reach out to Lauren Spaulding, please be aware that there is a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled service, you will be charged 50% of your service due to short notice.
Please note: In cases of severe weather, we may need to reschedule for safety purposes. Additionally, holidays may impact your schedule. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these situations.
8. What if I want to tip the cleaners?
If you’re happy with the service and want to show appreciation to your cleaning team, tipping is a wonderful way to do so. Tips can be left in the application when paying electronically or by cash to the crew.
9. What forms of payment does Maid For It Clean accept?
We utilize an online application when processing payments. You will receive a link to your email with the invoice for payment, you can pay with debit/credit card. If you are unsure of how to use the system, payments can be processed via phone as well. Cash is also accepted and can be given to the cleaning crew.
